18 luglio - Premio Giuseppe Taormina
Si è svolto a Palermo nella sede della scuola del fumetto diretta con competenza da Salvo di Marco e dai suoi collaboratori. Molti i talenti ( come sempre nelle regioni del sud ) e sinceramente è stato abbastanza difficile scegliere i vincitori. Dopo un’attenta analisi, sono stati premiati: Rosa Carrubba, Emanuele Virzi and Marcello Dabbene the order first, second and third place, which you will see the beautiful table on the following pages. A special mention was given to the couple formed by Sabella Arianna and Valeria Orlando promises future of comics for their efforts. Finally praises meritorious Cyrus Cangialosi for the particular interpretation of the character.
The exhibition features the original drawings of the competitors and some authors of the comics school in Palermo (always on the rolls of the Chronicle of mice) were exposed for one week. Stood out on all the original drawings by Elisa Falcone on the number of zero Eternopolis.
Overall we can say that was a wonderful giornata di festa fumettistica come potete vedere dalle foto riprodotte in questo articolo.
E per il futuro? Rifaremo il concorso Giuseppe Taormina, ma stavolta allargato agli aspiranti disegnatori di tutta Italia, continuate a tenere d’occhio il nostro sito ufficiale:

Prossimo mini-concorso “ Illustrazioni ”
Nel frattempo ho deciso di riservare nel prossimo numero 4 di Cronaca Comics, in uscita a febbraio 2009, uno spazio per le illustrazioni più belle ( naturalmente dedicate ai personaggi degli albi di Cronaca di Mickey Mouse) who want to send us. The pictures (of your choice in black and white or color) should address the following sets of characters (for which we are still looking for talent among other things to be included in each team): Masks, Scorpions, Tempus Manet, Eternopolis, Gothic and Than Dai.
Terms for participation: Given that both original and photocopies will not be returned, please send the originals (which will give a higher quality of the scan) but you can also send copies of the paper which, however, be followed by sending the work in jpg format at 300 dpi (max 2 Mb) at:
