Yes, you read correctly, a committee was born, imagine promoted by the same Almighty, in favor of the candidacy of Silvio Berlusconi as Peace Prize for 2010. From the official website reads:
The Nobel Peace Prize has never been assigned to an Italian from 1907 to present. E 'finally coming forward to debunk a taboo that has lasted more than one hundred years, or by what in 1907 was to win the bids Ernesto Teodoro Moneta.
the race for the coveted awards have followed in these many politicians and heads of state, among which we mention Yasser Arafat, the chairman of South Korea, Kim Dae-Jung, the former U.S. president Jimmy Carter and Al Gore.
Today we believe that, too, Italy deserves to receive this recognition, and to be properly represented by Silvio Berlusconi, for his undisputed humanitarian efforts both nationally and internationally.
On 26 May at 10:30 in Rome, the Committee on Freedom of supporting the candidacy of Silvio Berlusconi will initiate the collection of signatures.
